Chris is a Principal UX Consultant at Clearleft, based in Brighton in the UK. He creates award-winning digital solutions based on in-depth research insight and strategic design thinking. Chris helps clients shape and deliver elegant user-focussed solutions that add value to the business and its customers.
Steph is a user experience strategist and researcher, formerly Head of Research at Clearleft. In nearly 20 years of working on the Web, she has worn many hats, including a product lead for a tech startup in publishing and a technical director at a digital agency.
Martin is currently working in the travel tech space at momondo. He is passionate about interaction design, information architecture, and front-end development. He specializes in design systems and implementing them on both small- and large-scale projects.
Being a host, coach, and lead for Boye & Company peer groups has put Janus on a decade-long learning journey behind the scenes of digital agencies, small and large, as well as numerous complex and global organisations in Europe and North America. He also chairs the internationally recognized Boye Conferences held since 2005 in Aarhus, Denmark. With 3 young kids, Janus is also involved in public schools in Denmark on a local and national level, finding surprisingly many parallels between digital and primary education.
Katrine is Delivery Director and business advisor at Making Waves. With twenty years experience from DNV GL, Bekk, and Accenture, she has spent one half of her professional life in consulting and the other half inside the corporate world, always driving innovation and change. Joining Accenture as their second communications professional in 1998 and later managing global teams of engineers and creators in the Norwegian-German firm DNV GL, she has gained wide experience with diverse and distributed teams.
Jake's background includes 20 years of success helping organizations leverage marketing technology solutions to achieve strategic goals and objectives. Recent work has focused on the strategy around customer experience, experience marketing, and the role of digital in business transformation. When he's not working, Jake enjoys spending time with his wife, sailing, riding his Harley, movies, history, and philosophy.
Vedran has more than 25 years of experience in management consulting, regulatory reform, and management innovation. He gained much of his knowledge and expertise by attending series of educational programs at Harvard, Wharton, and Bled School of Management. He prides himself in being the first businessman to introduce the concept of Design Thinking in Croatia, for which he is also a certified trainer (HPI School of Design Thinking). In his free time, Vedran enjoys the game of tennis and spending time with his two children.
Hugo is a PHP and Symfony certified developer. He worked nine years for SensioLabs as a web developer, head of training, and software architect. He is now a backend lead developer at Dayuse.com. In his free time, Hugo contributes to Symfony and various OSS PHP projects and local user groups.
Anna is a web developer, project rescue expert, Pluralsight author, speaker, and former conference organizer. She enjoys realizing seemingly impossible things and advise others on how to accomplish the same. She has been coding since 1997.
Nicolas works at SensioLabs as CTO for the Blackfire.io. He started sending pull requests to Symfony at the end of 2013 and, since nobody told him to stop, he ended up becoming a core team member and a top-ranking contributor. He likes figuring out how to take the most out of the PHP engine, optimizing CI matrices, and removing lines of code.
Even older digital watches would outperform Stefan's first computer. He has been an IT consultant for over 20 years, holds an academic degree in computer science, is an author of several textbooks, and a university lecturer on professional web development. He spends his free time playing electric guitar and researching agile home improvement.
Tobias is an open source enthusiast and has spent many years trying to bring something good to the community. He is a Symfony core team member, co-host of the Sound of Symfony podcast, and an organizer of Swedish PHP meetups. He maintains projects like httplug.io, guzzle, buzz, Puli, Assert, and many more. He is also involved with the PHP-FIG by writing a PSR for HTTP clients.
Luka is passionate about being a developer, teacher, and mentor to the newcomers into the world of programming. He works for Code4Hire, a remote team of software engineers, and is one of the organizers of the WebCamp Zagreb conference. He enjoys playing and watching sports that Croatians find odd and unpopular.
Nacho works as developer and trainer at Limenius, a company that he co-founded. He has been involved in the Symfony community for a long time. During the last years, he has been enjoying his work with React and React Native as if it was his first day in this profession. He is the author of ReactBundle, React Sandbox, and Liform. He is also an organizer of the conference React Alicante.
Harry is a consultant front-end architect from the UK who helps companies all over the world write and manage better quality UIs for their products and teams. He has worked with Google, UN, Etsy, Kickstarter, BBC, Unilever, Deloitte, and more. He is also a speaker and an author of CSS Guidelines.
Sia is the founder and lead developer at Clio + Calliope. She has over 15 years of experience in technology, strategy, project management, and operations from small startups to large corporations across multiple industries, especially high-tech and education. In 2015, 2016, and 2017, Sia was recognized as one of the 100 most influential and active people in tech and entrepreneurship in Louisiana.
Kristijan teaches JavaScript and React at React Academy. He cares about open source and has made custom-react-scripts and mobx-router. He has also launched Sizzy and OK-Google.io.
Nader is a developer advocate at AWS Mobile and the host of the React Native Radio podcast.
